About the Author:

Beth Cochran teaches gifted students in the North Kansas City, Missouri, school district. She is a career educator, having spent 19 years in classrooms in Missouri and Kansas. For the first 15 of those years she taught choral music. She has been married to Cole Cochran, a Baptist minister, for 31 years. She is the mother of two young adult sons and grandmother of three. Beth is the daughter of Hugh and Kathryn Smith, about whom this book is written.
