Susan J.C. Alveshere is an internationally acclaimed artist who has been winning awards for her artistic ability since 1986. Susan resides in the beautiful scenic land of Puget Sound along with her husband and three beautiful children. Susan J.C. Alveshere is one of a very few colored pencil artists in the world who draw on black paper (Arches Cover Black). Susan's unique way of drawing that is vastly different from other artists in that she uses bright colors and different techniques of layering color. It was not until the early 90's that Susan realized that her drawing techniques were a natural reaction to her learning disability of dyslexia.
