Pedro Machado is an Information technology and logistics professional with over 25 years of experience. During the last two decades, Pedro took executive responsibilities as Director of IT and Logistics for large multinational companies. During that time, he got involved in large-scale logistics projects with Nissan, Volkswagen, GM and Peugeot (Argentina).
Also during this time, Pedro came to realize that retail car sales was one of few industries practically not affected by the Internet revolution, except for eBay. In order to better understand the industry and eBay’s influence in its change, Pedro became in 2001 a car dealer selling almost exclusively on eBay.
Pedro studied Electronics Engineering at the Technical University of Lisbon and Business Administration at the University of South Africa.
