Born in the UK and growing in the Portsmouth area Kevin Jackson was a keen Hovercraft watcher and budding engineer from early on in his life. His first venture into Hovercraft of his own was to build a radio controlled scale models of the first commercial Hovercraft the SR.N1. It was the first radio controlled model of this type. Today many of Kevins Hovercraft designs are produced by Hovercraftmodels.com as educational and radio control kits.
Kevin is a professional engineer and lives in Maryland USA. He holds Master of Science degree in Satellite Communication Engineering and has extensive experience in satellite communications technology and engineering.
