About this Book: |
"I Read You Green, Mother" brings together poems dictated in recent months with others written over the decades. In the Preface, co-editor David Ray describes Will Inman’s aesthetic as “unique and intriguing,” which the reader may encounter from the first (title) poem in which Inman returns to the lush land of his native North Carolina with an elegy for his mother.

Book Review: |
"With an extensive life work that is a part of years spent taking up politiical and human issues, arguing for decency, challenging so many popular notions of god, and striving for a language that can overpower physical violence, Will Inman is a personality larger than most and a voice that won't be shouted down." --David Chorlton
