About the Author:

The author, Steve Cook, is a survivor of malignant thymoma, a fast growing type of cancer related to the thymus gland in the upper mid-chest. Early on, his family doctor gave him six months to live. Now, 15 years after all the chemotherapy, surgery and radiation treatments, Steve has thoroughly (& happily!) proven that doctor wrong. As a survivor, he’s had many opportunities through the years to speak with other individuals battling cancer. Life has made him an expert in this, and he finally felt it was time to put into book form many of the attitudes & practices that worked for him and enabled him to conquer cancer and survive.
