The Question all women seem to ask: Do I Measure Up?
Growing up smack in the middle of a large and hard-working family is enough to make a young girl feel unnoticed and unimportant even if she is sure her parents love her. Somehow, their love isn't enough to settle the doubts.
In a meeting at the brush arbor, Virginia begins to understand how special and important she is to the Lord. Although she believes this newfound truth, her life seems to constantly challenge it.
Of course life will get easier as she grows up or will it?

"Virginia" is the third book in the Woody trilogy. The trilogy begins with "Woody" in which the title character learns: Only God Can Define a Man. The 2nd book of the trilogy, "Caller's Spring," involves more of the family and friends as they ask: How Can I Be Content with my Life Whatever the Circumstances? "Virginia" begins the story of Virginia and completes the story of Woody and Virginia.
These books are written as fiction but do incorporate many true events in the lives of the author's parents. The three books take place between the years of 1927 and 1950 in rural Tennessee. Somerville, Tennessee is the setting for "Virginia".
