About the Author:

Mrs. Scott is an inspirational speaker, poet, and writer from Port Arthur, Texas. She is a retired school teacher who began writing at the age of ten. Her love for children has sparked a need for this book of poems to encourage young people to seek the very best that life always has to offer. She was honored in 1982, as one of the esteemed, "Outstanding Young Women of America." She is a member of The Port Arthur ISD Title One Parent Involvement Council. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and helping others.
