About this Book:

My name is Square Peg. You can call me just plain ole Peg. Throughout life, I had many wonderful successes: a wealthy professional career, a well-to-do birth family, great in-laws and prominence in the church. Then I fell. Some-thing we will call the “one-thing” pushed me over the edge. The seventeen anecdotes in this little story book will help you get beyond the one-thing that is keeping you from genuinely knowing the people in your career, family and faith. The purpose of this little book is to teach a simple lesson, a lesson so simple and obvious that you will have to step back to see it. You will see sign bearers all along the way. They will help keep our thoughts tidy. The book is a storytelling book. I will tell many stories about people struggling with one-thing. I will also tell stories about my own struggle with one-thing. You will hear about cleaning out the dish-washer, camel worms, climbing trees and other simple tales that tell simple truths. You will hear often from my grand-father, Tuck. In the end though, you will repeat the Affinity Code as easily as your own computer password or ATM pin num-ber. Let’s get started. -- Square Peg

About the Author:

Ronnie Elise Elrod, MDiv, BS, PE defies stereotyping. Her story is one of the most unique you will ever hear. She is a part of society represented by only a few thousandths of one percent of the population. She lost over 160 pounds and endured over $100,000 in medical intervention. She once earned $8000 per week before becoming a $12 per hour secretary. Elise is a storyteller, speaker and writer. She earned a Bachelor of science degree in engineeing and licensed as a professional engineer in 36 states. She earned a Masters of divinity degree and served churches in Indiana and Tennessee.
