About this Book: |
|
Collection of poetry from writer and peace activist, Rachel Astarte Piccione
From The Author:
"Every poem is a prayer, a thanksgiving for some bright moment that has urged itself to the forefront of our lives. When I was growing up, our family taped the new poems we’d written to the refrigerator door so we could all read them and hold them with us throughout the day. Doing this reminded us that poems belong in the ordinary world, and that the ordinary world is holy. I believe poetry celebrates that truth."
