Book Review: |
|
Death Foreshadowed, by Patricia A. Bremmer, sets itself aside from other murder mysteries. Bremmer has a fresh writing style that brings new life to the "mystery" genere. She has the ability to combine an excellent story that involves clever twists and realistic characters dealing with danger the way real people would. Death Foreshadowed is a light fast read if that is all you want out of the story. However, if you are a methodical deliberate reader who wants to absorb every detail, Bremmer provides you with all the sustinence you will need. Bremmer captures the essence of small town life and the people who live in small towns. She also demonstrates a genuine ability to share the thoughts and actions of law enforcement personel while entertaining the reader without the use of "flash, bang, boom" and cigar-butt-chewing from stereo typed cops.
