Book Review: |
|
Many of Mila Gernon's poems reflects her visual and detailed sense of her surroundings. Some comments from her audience at readings included: "The author's love and intrigue of nature comes through...". "Her poetry is evocative and her painterly descriptives lift the image off the page and into the reader's view.." said another. After hearing Athlone Reflection read, a participant recently wrote, "...she paints a picture with words, like an artist paints a canvas. I feel like I've been there"...
