About this Book: |

For several days in May of 2004 during the time that Michael Rice was serving as a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he was awakened early in the morning with two recurring questions on his mind. What is the Church? What is the purpose of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?
In his book The University of Jesus Christ he reveals the answers that he received to these two important questions. He also shares very sacred and personal experiences that he has had with Our Savior Jesus Christ that have increased his love for the Savior and his desire to serve the Master.
The University of Jesus Christ is a modern allegory of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
It is a must read for anyone who wants to better understand the Lord’s kingdom here on earth, prepare for the 2nd Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ and receive their Celestial Degree.
It also reminds us that the most important education is our spiritual education.

In a day that many denigrate the importance of organized religion, Michael Joseph Rice is able to express the importance and power of the Lord’s organization of his true Church upon the earth. In his book The University of Jesus Christ, he likens the Church to a university. He is able to show how the Church has the power to positively affect the lives of all of its members, young, old, male, and female and to bring them closer to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This book will help both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and friends and acquaintances of members to better understand both the simplicity, and at the same time, the complexity of the Church organization. The book shows how the Church as a unit is orchestrated to bring one closer to Christ.
I can highly recommend this book to all readers.
