About this Book:

This book provides a history of Brookfield, Connecticut from the 1700's to present. Many here-to-fore facts and stories are documented in the book and it contains over 200 photographs depicting farms, houses, organizations as well as people.

About the Author:

Marilyn Whittlesey served as town historian of Brookfield CT for many years and was an active member of the Brookfield Historical and Museum Society. She served as curator,created many displays and served a term as President of the society. She was active in history programs for the school children in town.
