About this Book: |
|
Do you stand in front of the refrigerator at 5 PM, waiting for something to scream, "Cook me?" Do you find yourself eating out more than you would like? If so, this is the book for you! Imagine having your meals for the entire month already put away in your freezer, just waiting to be prepared! Exiting the Fast Food Lane can show you how to prepare enough meals in one day to last several weeks. Wouldn't it be wonderful to just cook once a month, rather than every night?
If you're thinking about losing weight, and finally getting rid of those unwanted pounds, then give freezer cooking a try. You can control the ingredients and pre-package your meals in the correct portions.
If you worry about your children getting the proper nutrition, check out the section on getting your kids to eat vegetables.
Or, if you're just a busy person, and don't have time to prepare a delicious, home-cooked meal every night, but are tired of shelling out money for meals at restaurants, find out how to have nutritious, savory meals every night for a fraction of the cost of eating out!
So, take a detour from the fast food lane!

About the Author: |
|
Marie Cole is a busy homeschooling mother of two, an accomplished pianist and piano instructor, and wife. She served on the Board of a large homeschool co-op, teaches junior high Sunday School, and has started two home-based businesses. Life before freezer cooking was very hectic! Marie says, "As I tried to balance all of my different roles, dinner often got sidetracked until my husband got home from work. I would then either frantically try to get something edible on the table or just wait until he decided he was hungry enough to take us out. I decided there had to be a better way!"
Marie gives freezer cooking classes through her company, Freezer Pleasers. She speaks to women's groups and homeschool organizations about freezer cooking and also encourages women through her popular "Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman: If I Can Do It, Anyone Can" lecture series.
