About the Author:

LOUISE ANN BARTON This celebrated local author is a master storyteller from a family of Cherokee master storytellers, an author, an award-winning poet, and a lecturer. She has an MA in business, a minor in law, and a Master Gardener’s Certification. She has authored Web and newspaper articles, novels, short stories, flash fiction, children’s stories and plays. She edits musical CD inserts, and is a ghostwriter. After a lifetime as a New Yorker, she retired to the “haunted” Pine Barrens with her faithful, feline companion.
