Kevin Miller struggled in school in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. He would study for two hours each day, and still get low grades (D’s & F’s). He was starting to give up at school. He knew that anything he did would be answered with failure. He had given up on attending college. In the 10th grade he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
After taking medication, the changes in Kevin were immediate and profound. From the first day, he was able to focus on discussions, answer questions, and most importantly, follow through on activities. Kevin is now getting A’s and B’s in school, and is planning for college. Kevin promised himself that he would never again waste another day like he had before he was diagnosed with ADD. This book recounts the battles that Kevin faced and won.
