Book Review: |
|
Account of a family member from a very poor background who as a teenager joined the Confederate Army. Probably enticed by a $50.00 enlistment bounty and a chance at adventure, a young boy from a backwoods river community went to places he had probably never heard of and through hardships he had never imagined. A young boy from Alabama served under and faught against the great military leaders we have only studied about in history.
