About this Book: |
|
The author of Green Bamboo, Joe Zarantonello, is a teacher who specializes in introducing people to the mystic paths of Christianity, Buddhism and Poetry.
Green Bamboo is a collection of 101 poems that spring from the heart of the contemplative journey. Like homing pigeons, any one of the poems can take the reader right back to where it came from—the enlightened heart of spiritual practice.

About the Author: |
|
Joe Zarantonello is a teacher, poet and the creator of The Integral Journal. Joe’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame where he majored in The Great Books. His M.A. is from University College (Dublin) where he studied the Irish poets.
Joe spends most of his time at home, with his wife Pam, running Loose Leaf Hollow — a guesthouse for solitary or guided retreats in the rolling knobs outside of Bardstown, Kentucky.
This poem is framed and hangs on the wall beside the door at Loose Leaf Hollow—
My Passion
My vocation
And my avocation
My work
And my play
Is helping others
Create a way
To bring forth
Their hidden brilliance
