It includes recipes from 5 continents, 125 PFLAG chapters, gay and lesbian choirs and GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender) employee groups. Senators Feinstein, Boxer, and Kerry, Representatives Barney Frank and Tammy Baldwin, Governor Ann Richards and Mayor Willie Brown have contributed recipes. The cast of Will & Grace, Matthew Perry of Friends, Harvey Fierstein, Florence Henderson, Debbie Reynolds, Betty Buckley and Lorna Luft have also contributed recipes.

Jeff Johnson is an openly gay man in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His mother was a long time 'PFLAG Mom'. He and his partner, Michael, have three children, one of which is gay.

A great cookbook!!!! If you can't find a favorite cookie recipe in this cookbook, you are never going to find one. It is truely international - recipes from more than 15 countries. Every cookie baker was given the opportunity to personalize their recipe. Read why these particular recipes are important to the individual or group who sent it. From recipes handed down through generations to new recipes from folks who have never baked. Entertaining quotes, lists and interesting facts from the famous and imfamous are laced throughout which makes this cookbook read like no other.
