About the Author:

James P. Quincy, III is the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Institutional Church-Detroit & served as Min. of Children & Youth at Calvary Baptist Church-NYC, Mass. Ave. Baptist Church-Cambridge, MA & Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church-Detroit. He earned B.S. & M.Div. degrees from Tuskegee & Harvard. He’s ministered in Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, and South Africa. He was the N.E. Field Rep. for the National Council of Churches, USA BCEAP & has served the American Baptist Churches of Metro NYC; the NY State Progressive Nat. Baptist Convention; the Queens United Churches Youth Assoc. & NY Theological Seminary’s Jamaica Cluster. He is author of The Community Church: Implementing the Gospel of Jesus & May I Help You? 7 Steps to Successful Youth Ministry.

This book is an incredible tool for young Christians who are eager to grow and are willing to have a "Life without Limits.” I love the fact that the author recognizes that it is a struggle, even as we struggle together, to get others to believe the good news. This book clearly demonstrates how to live as a teen and gives excellent steps for achieving a closer walk with God. I believe in this book because, after reading and applying the C.H.O.P. strategy and the daily devotional, I have learned that no matter what age or how spiritually mature you are, you can still hunger for a closer walk.
