About this Book: |
|
The 35 free verse poems in ICE FISHING represent the author's ability to plumb the depths of situations and relationships and examine them symbolically in language. The climate of Alaska and the lives of fisherman infiltrate these lines, especially in "End of the Fishing Season - Ninilchik, Alaska," "The Ice Man," "Alaska Highway," and in the title poem.
