About this Book: |
|
This softcover book is about a new kind of private investigator, who quotes and understands existentialist philosophy. He's not only a tough guy, but a nice guy, who's having a sizzling romance with his client, a spirited garden district woman. There are scenes where he tangles with a spy intent on hijacking top secret military codes, and other scenes with a hardbitten police lieutenant; a wheelchair-bound but fearless crime fighter; a precocious young sidekick; and a radar officer missing from his ship.
