Bill grew up in Idaho's Treasure Valley, then later moved to Eastern Oregon where he met and married his wife, Alice. Together they raised a family of four children. Bill, a gifted story teller, enjoyed sharing events from his past with his growing children. Due to the encouragements of "Tell us again about when...." he started writing memoirs and a selected few have been compiled into this; his first book "A Faded Memory".
