To assist his lonliness Fletcher adopted a young Irish orphan from the orphan train. The young man has a twin sister who remains in New York City, but Fletcher doesn't have that information.

Anita has a BS Degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is the mother of two grown daughters and has five grandchildren.
