Toni Cade is an Associate Professor in the Health Information Management Department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Toni and her husband, Bobby Cade, are owners of Cade's Market which is a supermarket specializing in specialty meats. Toni, Bobby, and their three daughters (Chelsea, Brittany, and Haley) reside in St. Martinville, Louisiana.

This is an excellent cookbook for anyone wanting recipes from Cajun country. You will find simple instructions on how to make a roux, gumbo, cush-cush, bread pudding, seafood dishes and many other favorites from this region (southwest Louisiana). These recipes are simple to follow and are excellent for a new cook. It also makes for a unique wedding gift.
