Book Review: |
|
Sometimes there are books written that cut to the heart of how everyone should strive to be. This book is one of those, but yet is a true story.
The book is a compelling story of undying, unwavering love from a man that wouldn't quit trying to put the pieces of the puzzle back together and yet he had to earn a living for the family.
The book revolves around an auto accident that almost took the life of his wife and left her in coma for weeks.
The book deals with the ascension of his children to heads of the household and how they dealt with being once again relegated to being children. The subsequent rehabilitation was long and difficult for everyone, but the husband was determined to see his wife regain her position in life. He felt the answer to her rehabilitation was a series of goals for her to re-enter the job market even if it meant failure.
You can feel the love and sincerity of the children and you will want to cry with them as they individually share their story with you.
The writer feels that hope, love, compassion, opportunity and time are the secrets to rehabilitation. See if you agree with the author.
