About this Book: |
First time author, Patsy Bordelon Graham, shares the beauty and simplicity of growing up the small Cajun French community of Marksville, Louisiana during the fifties. There, the writer explores the joys and hardships of everyday life. With a clear and profound voice, she preaches constant hope and certain conviction. Graham's expression of the cyclical nature of life and the certainty of death broaden the scope of this most natural memoir.

About the Author: |
Patsy Bordelon Graham was born on a New Year's Day in the early 1950s. She was reared by loving parents, Lucille and Foster Bordelon, in the then quaint community of Marksville, Louisiana. There, she learned to love the simple things of life. With a brother and a sister, she enjoyed the rural life of a different era. Now retired with husband Jay to an almost mythical lake in St. Amant, the author reflects on the pleasures of life's journey.

Book Review: |
C'est La Vie is almost spiritual in its treatment of the splendor of the commonplace. Author Patsy Graham takes the reader on a trip from childhood through retirement, celebrating life and accepting death. Graham calls upon us to truly see "the artist God's" creation. As she illuminates our memories, she graces us.
