It is an easy read meant to interest his descendants in their history and heritage.

He graduated from Cooter High School in 1959 and Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina in 1963. He earned a Masters Degree in History from the University of Texas, Arlington, Texas in 2005 and is currently enrolled in their Doctoral program. Book Review:

This is a book of musings on the history and culture of Scotland and its people ranging from bagpipes to the Loch Ness monster. In a more serious vein, it relate a brief description of the Battle of Culloden and the role the author's ancestors may have played in its outcome and how they eventually escaped and came to America.
