About this Book:

Born when the grip of Nazi Germany was at it's tightest; raised under Russian Occupation in Berlin; incarcerated for trying to stay in Austria, Karl-Heinz fled across the Dead Zone into freedom as the Berlin Wall sprang to life. Making his way to Chicago he became an underground illustrator which led to a notorious obscenity trial that would catapult his artistic career. But something was missing... Escaping the encroaching slums the painter exiled himself to the woods of MN. In a few years he began his life anew as the Faux Meister and soon was globe hopping and creating mural masterpieces which garnered National and International Awards. Years later he would return to Berlin to teach painting. An odyssey that went Full Circle. Come join the circle.

About the Author:

Karen Black is an Author, Painter and Martial Arts Master who lives in the Endless Mountains of Pa. She is a member of Society of Decorative Painters, retired board member to EMTDP, and member of the Blue Heron Art Gallery. With Studio K Galleries she reaches out globally through social media, her website and her charity work. She works in various mediums including Colored Pencil, Egg Tempura, Graphite, Milk paint, Oils, Watercolor and more. Karen specializes in “green” painting techniques without the use of modern toxic materials. Previous publications include the “The Legacy of a Coalminer”– Stories of the Children from Pine Ridge Colliery, “Awakenings”– a Photo Journey of sunrises, Endless Mountain Children’s Activity and Coloring Book, Flowers of the Field and Forest Children’s Activity and Coloring Book.
