"Made from Scratch" is a collection of recipies that I have tweaked, many are seasoned with Herbes d' Provence (southern French herb combination). Most recipies have no food additives or processed foods used. This cookbook was born out of desperation for me to organize my favorite recipes and to pass my love of cooking on to my granddaughter, Sarah. These recipies are not necessary original, they are favorites that have been tweaked. Many are made with an occassional pinch of Herbes d' Provence.

Easy to read, large print, no carry over recipies to the next page. Folds back for easy use. Simple concise instructions. Many foods are enhancec by this combination of herbes. This blend is dried and not ground, was created about 40 years ago, is not well known in American cooking and it adds zest and flavor to any dish. It can be substituted for salt to season fish, meats, vegetables, soups, stews, salads and sauces.
