About the Author:

Prophetess Fannie Marlow Hightower is a native Memphiian. Fannie has rendered her vocal talents to support singers such as the Late Rev. James Moore, the Yancey Family of Chicago, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and many others. Fannie was also selected as one of the interracial singers for the production of "Come Together" featuring movie star and singer, Pat Boone. She attended State Technical Institute at Memphis, where her major was computer science and mathematics. She attends Greater Community Temple COGIC, where her pastor is Brandon B. Porter. She is the coordinator of the Young Women Christian Council, and the mother of one daughter, Tawanda Marlow Hightower. She has worked extensively with battered women shelters, prison ministries, and homeless shelters.
