About this Book: |

“When I’m tired, there’s pain. When I’m hungry or have not had enough to drink, there’s pain. And, when I am really stressed, there is a lot of pain. When I’m relaxing at the dinner table, there’s pain. On the couch at the end of the day, without any cares in the world, without any stress, there’s still pain.”
“I felt drugged with fatigue like I had the flu or was emotionally depressed. It’s like living with a hangover that won’t go away. That is the thing about this debilitating fatigue.”
Diagnosis: Fibromyalgia. Basic Symptoms: Chronic pain and debilitating fatigue. The Soul of Fibromyalgia, Birkhoff’s sequel to The Seasons of Fibromyalgia, is his real life journey of day-to-day survival with the pain, cold, fatigue, fog, depression, tingling, irritable bowel syndrome, unexpected sensitivities and a host of other symptoms that accompany fibromyalgia. Packed with detailed, scientific research, knowledge and alternative treatments, it is a must read whether you have a chronic condition or know someone that does.
